Rally on Mega888, a slot built from car badges and chequered flags

The logo over the reels says RALLY, not Rally Championship, and that is the first thing to know if you searched for this game. The second is that it is a slot, not a racing game. There is no car to steer. The reels are covered in the badges of real car makers, and the racing comes from the background: a grandstand, a city skyline and two rally cars parked at the edges of the screen, one blue and one yellow.

Symbols

Five reels of three rows, on white tiles. Six car badges make up much of the reels: Subaru, BMW, Toyota, Chevrolet, Porsche and Citroën, each with the maker's name under it. The rest are racing pictures: a tyre, crossed yellow flags, crossed red flags and crossed green flags, a red seven with a chequered pattern, a bundle of banknotes and a green rally car with the number 3 on its door.

The biggest picture is a gold trophy engraved Millionaire, on a chequered tile of its own. With no pay table in the screenshots we can't say which symbol is wild, what the trophy does or what the cash bundle pays. The old page listed wilds, scatters, free spins and "replacement symbols", which is true of almost every slot and doesn't tell you which tile is which.

Bets and meters

The frame is the familiar Mega888 one. Balance, Bet and Win sit in steel boxes along the top with a Back button, and Minor, Random Jackpot and Major sit just below. Twenty coloured tabs run down both sides of the reels, and Lines, Bet, Autoplay and Spin run along the bottom.

The first and sixth screenshots play all 20 lines at 0.05 a line for 1.00. The rest play one line at 0.01. The old page gave the game 25 lines, but the tabs stop at 20. The meters show two separate sessions. In the first five shots the Random Jackpot sits between about 6,160 and 6,285. In the last five it has fallen to about 3,050 and is climbing again, which suggests it paid out in between.

What we can't tell you

The old page credited the game to a named studio. Nothing on the screens confirms that, so we've left it out. None of the ten screenshots shows a win, a bonus round or a free spins counter, so how the features play is unknown here. The menu button in the top right corner opens the rules inside the game.
